past month i read an article in THE HINDU which striked at the same point...CLEAN INDIA...
years b4 we started our quest for incredible india...promoting tourism...
what we intend to promote in front of the world is our rich history,glorious past,enormus structures and sculptures and carvings ....beautiful seaports..beaches...palace's...traditional dance style...ayurveda...
Indeed there are n number of other things like what i have listed out to be projected b4 the world...but i kindly request your kind attension to the above paragraph..."history" & "past"...
India's history and past has been a mixture of glory and richness...but the current situvation stinks...we only have our past to glorify and appreciate..nothing in the present situavation is appreciable(ofcrs our population is indeed the fastest growing)...
There is an emergency for awakening...
Clean India...which is free from politics...i mean free from currupted & negligent politics...an India where people make their life memorable, not by writing their names on presious sculptures rather ,by their activities...where the muncipalities take enough time to help us breathe and walk in a hegenic society ....clean transportation utilities...
may b iam thinking of a tamil cinema...where in the superstar Rajnikanth..makes the entire tamilnadu neat clean hygenic and what not....
"change anything that is possible" well SRK said it in MY NAME IS KHAN...but it holds true to the situvation...
may be i have deviated from the topic..but....what should I answer when a first standard child holds my hand and asks me the question "why is this place so stinky..."

FROM SUBLIME TO RIDICULOUS
The script is slightly old for the media...Shoaib Weds Sania....
The indian history...cultural d filimy...both talks about openness and acceptance of love and display of patriotism. The yash-raj cinema'Veer-zara' was acclaimed for its message of love... that spreads over the manmade boundarries of state and culture.
What we found in the recent past is that face the country which was believed to be extinct from the society. The oppeness, of the boasted indian culture,was subdued by the activity of a self labeled political party i n the name of "upholding the Indian culture" .
A political identity claims that she should get marreid only to an indian..(as per the party ...people of a selected cummnity are not Indians...ref.Gujrat riots) if she wants to represent India in the future.
And the media covers the issue at such a high priority, that even the loacal barber shop disscussion is about the marrge and related issues.
The marrage issue has brought into light that the openness in the indian society has ceased to be a mere text, students are forced to study that india upholdes the roots of love and tranquillity.
Or, is there still people who upholds the fact that patriotism is not revealed by the act of choosing ur partner but the way u live as,by and for the country.
